On of my favorite parts about my job as a graphic designer is that there are so many avenues and types of design work open to me! In the last 4 years I have done custom blog designs, sold art prints, sold graphics, worked with scrapbooking companies and craft companies, and written about design. No matter what the project it all comes down to my love for illustrator and photoshop! And of course fonts!
Last week I tried something new yet again and entered a couple of designs into a Kids Birthday Invitation design contest at Minted. It was really fun trying something new! There were so many beautiful designs submitted! Just by browsing through the submissions and looking at the others designers work I learned a lot! It totally got my creative juices flowing!
Design contest at Minter work like this: Designers submit their work through the design contests. Then Minted readers and customers vote on their favorite designs which they will sell on the site!
Like I said, there were so many beautiful designs submitted! I am not getting my hopes up that I won. In fact, I know that the chances are slim. But even so I would love any extra votes you can spare …
