4 Years ago I started blogging. I didn’t know where it would lead, and definitely didn’t think it would lead me to where I am today. I sort of haphazardly threw a blog together and posted my first post about our wedding. Everything has evolved from there! But, from that day on I have loved blogging and I also feel like I have I have learned a lot of things, skills, and met new friends along the way.
Today I thought I would share a few of my favorite helpful blogging links with you. These are links and websites I that I have personally used throughout the last 4 years of blogging!
- For beginning bloggers Blog Bulk is a great place to learn basic customization tips!
- I love reading Artful Blogging Magazine! So many inspiring blogging stories!
- Gussy Sews has a handful of inspiring posts on how she runs her blog and business. Perfect for any handmade shop owner!
- When I decided to make the big switch to wordpress I used this ebook as my guide for blogger to wordpress migration. Super great ebook, with step by step pictures and explanations! I still refer to it occasionally! If you are wondering why I made the switch from blogger to wordpress read here >>> Difference Between Blogger and WordPress.
- My Absolute FAVORITE wordpress themes can be found here >>> Studio Press. Home of the famous Genesis. If you are thinking about switching to wordpress or already have wordpress I highly recommend using Studio Press themes. The themes are worth every penny. They come with lifetime updates, the best help forum {they have always answered my questions within a few hours!} and are user friendly! {This blog is a customization of the Blissful Theme.}
- If your blog or online business is getting to be to much for you to handle I recommend reading”How to Hire Blog Help“. You can read my review of the ebook here >>> Hire Blog Help

that’s a great post! thanks for sharing! I am starting on a new blog soon and it will be on wordpress. I have to say it can be really frustrating when you don’t know what you are doing and your budget is really low. It will be my last shot… do you think having a blog on wordpress is more appealing to readers or it doesn’t matter? Sometimes I just get the feeling some bloggers switch to wordpress because it seems to be the trend now. Thanks for your tips!!
